What is helpmebuild?
A preview-stage tool that interviews you about a project idea and produces a structured spec for AI coding tools. It is not a finished product. It may change, break, or go offline without notice.

Terms of Service
Last updated: May 1, 2026. Plain-language preview-stage terms. By using helpmebuild, you agree to these.
Who can use it?
Anyone with a Google account or email address, age 13 and up. If you're under 18, ask a parent or guardian first.
What can I use it for?
Any legitimate project of your own. Don't use it to: paste secrets (passwords, API keys, financial data), submit illegal content, harass or impersonate others, or attempt to break the service. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse it.
Who owns what I put in and what I get out?
You own your input. You own the spec output. We don't claim copyright on what you write or what helpmebuild generates for you. The helpmebuild software, the interview prompts, and the underlying service are owned by the helpmebuild operator.
Are you responsible if something goes wrong?
This is preview-stage software, provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or that the spec output is correct or useful for your project. Decisions you make based on helpmebuild's output are your own. We are not liable for damages, lost work, lost revenue, or other harms arising from using it.
Can you change these terms?
Yes, especially during preview. If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and try to notify you by email. Continued use means you accept the updates.
Are there usage limits?
Yes. To keep helpmebuild working for everyone and to control costs, every account is rate-limited and has a hard daily spend cap on AI compute (roughly $5 per day). If you hit a limit, you'll see a friendly message and can try again after the limit window resets (typically the next day). The Privacy policy lists the specific values. Email support@klausway.com if you have a legitimate need for higher limits — we'd rather raise your cap than have you go quiet.
Can you close my account?
Either of us can end the relationship. You can delete your account anytime. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms — for example, automated cost-burning, attempts to abuse the system, or behavior that puts other users at risk. Suspended accounts retain their data and remain deletable; they just can't start new interviews or send messages. If we ever shut helpmebuild down, we'll give existing users notice and a way to export their data.
What law applies?
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in Connecticut.
